Activities :Most associations have monthly meetings which are different in form depending upon the locality. Usually they have meetings where there are guest speakers on subjects of interest . Most meetings are well attended and the actual numbers depend on the size of the Association membership. Meetings:

Hutt City Grey Power meets at the Knox Church Hall, High St, Lower Hutt on the third Wednesday of each month except December and January, with a guest speaker and an opportunity to socialise over light refreshments. Our first speaker for the New Year, on February 17th is Warwick Johnston, speaking on the History of the Griffin's biscuit factory.

Waihi Association meetings are held on the 4th Friday of each month, excluding January. We gather at the Salvation Army Hall, top end of Seddon Street, Waihi about 9.45 for a 10 am start and finish approximately noon. Our Hearing and Teeth
Our Guest Speakers will be Kevin Wong ex City Dental. Kevin is one of the world examiners appointed by the Royal College of Edinburgh and also ACC advisor.
Also Toni Vieleski ex the Hearing Association of the Western Bay.
Both these subjects are poorly understood in their general effect on health and well being.
The agenda of the meeting which will follow the Speakers will include an opportunity to discuss the questionnaire in this edition. (February Newsletter)
